Stamberg Structural Engineering (SSE) is a structural engineering design and consulting firm located in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia with professional licensure in West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. The primary focus of SSE is to provide structural design and evaluation service for a wide variety of building types as well as retaining walls and earth structures. SSE has experience with new construction and additions or modifications to existing buildings. The design experience ranges from small residential projects to large scale commercial projects utilizing a wide range of construction materials and systems.
Contact UsHans Stamberg, P.E. is the owner of Stamberg Structural Engineering, PLLC. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1998 and from the University of Connecticut with a Master of Science in Civil Engineering in 2000. The focus of study for each degree was Structural Engineering. His entire career has been with small to medium sized structural engineering firms, which has resulted in diverse experience with a multitude of building types and materials. He recently worked in Winchester, Virginia from 2005 until forming SSE in 2023.
Stamberg Structural Engineering, PLLC is a full-service structural engineering design firm capable of providing solutions for a large variety of building structural projects. Services provided by SSE are traditional design of new projects requiring construction administration, renovations, alterations and evaluations.
